Groomer Pay Calculator is a free tool for dog groomers who get paid on an hourly, commission, or blended structure and want a clear weekly picture of what they are actually earning, not just a rough guess until the next paycheck lands.
Why this exists
Commission-based pay is genuinely hard to estimate in your head, especially under an "hourly vs. commission, whichever is higher" structure. Knowing whether you have commissioned out for the week, and how many more grooms it takes to get there, is useful information that most groomers otherwise only find out after the fact. This tool does that math for you, live, as you log each day.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. You log hours worked, dogs groomed, average price per dog, and tips for each day of the week, pick your salon's pay method and commission tier, and the calculator handles the rest: hourly totals, commission comparisons, and a running goal tracker showing how close you are to commissioning out.
Your data stays yours

Independent, and not tied to any employer
Commission tiers and pay-structure logic are modeled on pay patterns that are common across the grooming industry, drawn from published salary trackers and job postings. This site is independently built and operated by Edgewater Media LLC. It is not connected to any salon, franchise, or grooming employer, and no employer has any say in what the calculator shows you.
